PROJECT
Pepper is an IoT platform designed for companies that manufacture and manage smart home devices and video cameras, including brands such as Momentum.
The engagement spanned product strategy, UX and visual design, and close collaboration with client and engineering teams to support existing workflows, enable new device integrations, expand the platform for white-glove experiences, and explore future states for platform growth.
CONTRIBUTION
Sole designer and design lead over a three~ year engagement
Primary point of contact between argo and Pepper, supporting prioritization, requirements review, UI/UX strategy, feedback sessions, and Jira/Confluence documentation and handoff to dev
Primary design partner to engineering, facilitating weekly reviews, asset delivery, documentation, bug reporting, and collaborative working sessions
Led end-to-end UI/UX design including concepts, wireframes, user flows, detailed interface design, and documentation

A smart home platform that enables users to control and manage their devices in one place—including cameras, outlets, sensors, lights, and alarms.
Received, prioritized, and addressed new feature requests and requirements shared directly by the client, translating them into actionable design work.
We used Jira and Confluence as shared spaces to communicate, document decisions, and provide ongoing design feedback in close collaboration with the engineering team.
