Play Possible for Schools is a card deck based on a framework developed by Laura Seargeant Richardson, composed of 11 powers of play that emphasize play as a creative practice. The work focused on defining a cohesive brand identity, color system, and visual expression to extend across the card deck, presentations, packaging, and supporting materials.

Defined a brand identity for Play Possible that reflects the framework and supports future expansion into additional contexts.

Before: “Periodic Table of Play” represents Laura Richardson’s original framework and design. Published in Fast Company article “The Periodic Table of How Kids Play,” by Carey Dunne in 2014.

After: Updated framework and design; which continues to delineate all Play Powers, with a flexible framework that allows for expansion. The Periodic Table of Play directly informed the process for brand definition and card deck brand expression.
